Boxing
PAL Boxing is held year round with officers from MVPD leading the charge four times a week at practice. Because of its popularity there is a waiting list for the youth to get in on the action. MVPAL Boxing looks forward to continuing its success and competitions in local tournaments.

College Tour
MVPAL partners with the YMCA to take high school students on a college tour in Southern California. The youth are able to tour 6 college campuses and spend a day at Disneyland.

Mentoring Program
A community based program designed to improve the lives of youth through mentoring. We focus on elementary and middle school children that can benefit from this program. Mentors and Mentees will engage in activities such as arts and crafts, sports, music, games, reading, and much more.
Age: 4-5th grade

NetGain
A six week camp that provides nearly 40 youth the opportunity to learn the sport of tennis. Our core group of coaches are volunteers from the Mountain View Tennis Club. This program has proven to be a win-win situation for both community volunteers and the at-risk youth we serve.

Field Trips
MVPAL takes numerous field trips throughout the year with various age groups. Some of our past field trips include: Great America, Sky High, Disneyland, Warriors games, Laser Quest, Sabercats games, and more.
Mountain View Police Department Youth Service's Unit Presents...Cops that Care
The program started with a two-week toy drive and delivery to the neighborhoods and by the second year had grown so large that it was moved to the Police Department. In 2014, more than 1,300 children from infants to teenagers received a gift.
