Champion for Youth 2019

For the children of Mountain View, not a day goes by that they aren’t greeted with Officer James Guevarra’s warm smile and encouraging words. Every day, as they head into school, James makes sure he is there to tell students to have a great day, to offer them a high-five, and to let them know that if they need anything, he is there for them.We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that James’ heartfelt work and his tireless advocacy for the children of Mountain View has led him to be recognized as this year’s “Champion for Youth.”
